Around the House, Episode 21-23
The number of homes for sale in Knoxville is 60% lower than a year ago. This shortage – combined with the influx of people moving into the state – is driving up home prices in our area. With homes, sometimes, selling for more than asking price and in a matter of hours, many buyers are not able to get a contract on the properties they want.
On this episode of Around the House, Dawn talks with a couple of experts who offer different solutions to the current situation. One has ideas on how to update your home if you’re having no luck buying. Another is creating opportunities for families to buy a home they might not otherwise be able to afford.
